Each session consists of the following:
Consultation:
Your session begins with a complete consultation where you will be able to view the Belly Bliss design portfolio, learn about the casting process and decide what style and design of cast you truly love. There is no time limit. Relax, sip a cup of tea or refreshing infused water and watch as Belly Bliss transforms your ideas into the cast of your dreams. Your ideas will be sketched out with you present so you can offer feedback and become a co-creator in the design process.
Cast Creation:
Once a design is determined you will be able to relax, listen to music and enjoy a spa-like experience as the cast is created. The process begins with the application of a luxurious herb-infused lotion made exclusively by Belly Bliss. Next strips of plaster gauze will be draped over your body using warm aromatic water. After several layers have been applied the plaster will take about ten minutes to stiffen enough for removal. You will then have the opportunity to wash and dress before seeing your pregnant form come to life. The entire process takes about 30 minutes once the plaster application begins.
Your finished cast makes a fantastic accent piece for the baby’s nursery, a unique three-dimensional scrapbook of your baby’s first year or a meaningful memento to hang in any area of your home. It is something you and your child will cherish.
